They most certainly do appreciate the things that their romantic partners do for them, no matter what it is, but generally, you are correct. Capricorns are not typically into overly romantic, and cheesy romantic gestures. Hopefully that makes sense…

EDIT: This might be some relevance. I just want to add, I’m the same way. As a Capricorn, whenever I’m dating someone new, the first thing that they need to accept, is the fact that I need my space. Second, I don’t need overly romantic and overly done dates. When I’m on a date, I’m just happy spending some quality time with that person. Sure, like every woman, I’ll appreciate chocolates and flowers, but I don’t need it on a consistent basis!
In fact, this is the one thing about me that I really like about myself when it comes to relationships. Don’t get me wrong, I do consider myself pretty high maintenance when it comes to my appearance, but in a relationship, it’s the opposite! :)

No, don’t worry about it, it makes sense. You don’t have a reason to be confused. Yes, you are correct, general astrology does suggest that Capricorn and Aquarius are not good together, but that is not a valid reason to write him off.
You are/were attracted to him because he’s a human being, you just don’t decided who to love. But maybe also because he’s so different than the guys you typically go for? Maybe because you wanted a change?
I will also add, it is nowhere near uncommon for a Capricorn over think, and question everything. I honestly think that this is one of those cases.

Every now and then I get a question where someone will say/ask ” Hey, I don’t really believe in this stuff, but ______________?” And I believe or not, I actually do look through the reblogs, and I do read what people add. Every now and then, someone will write something along the lines of “Fuck astrology, this can’t be true,” “This is all bullshit,” or “I don’t believe in this stuff.”
So, other than that, I’ve never received anything of the nature that you described directly to my inbox. And even if I did, I honestly wouldn’t be affected or bothered by it. Astrology is astrology, not everyone is forced to believe in it. To me, that’s just one of the many things that makes it fun! As much as I believe in it, I respect the views of others when it comes to this stuff.
